I think college needs to be a mixture of both. Students should be able to explore in order to find their passion. Passion is extremely important in being happy with one's career choice down the road. However, students need to get used to the idea that responsibility is coming their way, whether they like it or not, and they're (we're) going to have to get used to that fact and start acting like adults.
